KIDGITS AT the SMITH HAVEN MALL- Kidgits is free to attend for members of the Simon Kidgits Club, a fun and informative program that focuses on health, wellness, education, safety and entertainment for children ages 3-8. Since 2003, the Simon Kidgits Club has kept children and parents alike amused with various events and activities while providing incentives for club members, such as special offers, rewards and games. Annual membership is $5 and provides access to monthly events and scheduled activities at Smith Haven Mall. Kidgits Club members receive a variety of goodies, including a Kidgits Club T-shirt, membership card, birthday card and gift and discounts. Bowling

KidsBowlFree.com - A summer long program where Kids that are registered can bowl 2 games DAILY from June 1st to October 1st. You can also purchase a Family pass for $24.95. This is good for up to 4 adult family members (Mom, Dad, Older Siblings, Grandma, Grandpa or an Adult Babysitter) to bowl 2 games of bowling every day during the promotion all summer long along with the children that have registered in your family.  Kids can bowl from 9am-9pm and standard shoe rental rates may apply.

Local participating centers include Coram Country Lanes, East Islip Lanes, Port Jeff Bowl Inc, and Bowl Long Island At Patchogue,

AMF Summer Games Pass allows children ages 15 and under to bowl all summer long for a fraction of the cost. With their pass, children can bowl three games weekdays (Mon-Fri) from open until 8 pm and weekends (Sat & Sun) from open until 4 pm at participating centers. The program begins May 18, 2015, and lasts all summer long until Labor Day, September 7, 2015. Pass prices vary by location and are valid only at the center selected during registration. Get your kids off the couch—and onto the lanes for FREE!  You can also purchase a Adult/Family passes for anyone 16 and older!

READING PROGRAMS

Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program for 2015
Imagination's Destination:

- Kids in grades 1-6 can earn a free book, a summer reading kit, and more.
- Simply read any 8 books and record them in the Reading Journal
- Bring the completed Reading Journal to Barnes & Noble in Lake Grove
- Then your child gets to choose a FREE book from a selection on the Reading Journal List at the store.

The Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge
is a free online reading program for children. Join today and let’s set a new reading world record for summer 2015! (May 4 - Sept 4, 2015)


TD Bank's Summer Reading Program
- If your child is in grades K-5, participating is easy!
- Have your child read 10 books this summer
- Print out the Summer Reading Form- Write down the names of the books they've read
- Take the form to the nearest TD Bank - Receive $10 in a new or existing Young Saver account

Book Worm Wednesdays at Island 16, Holtsville
- Have your kids read and then write a short report!  Their reward is. . . a FREE movie! Just bring a book report* with you to the select Bookworm Wednesday's movie and that’s your price of admission! Download the Book Report
- Movies are every Wednesday starting Jul. 8-July 29th. July 8th - Rio 2, July 15th - Penguins of Madagascar, July 22nd - Dragon 2 and July 29th - Annie.
- *Children under six who accompany a participant and adults who accompany a participant receive free admittance to the Bookworm Wednesdays movie and do not need to submit a book report. No purchase necessary.


MOVIES


2015 Summer Movie Express Enjoy movies all summer long at Regal Deer Park Stadium 16 IMAX & RPX for ONLY $1. Shows start June 16th. All movies play at 10am. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Will Rogers Institute.
