Meet ROSIE, she is our first Dog of the Week!

Rosie is a 6 1/2 month old female lab mix.  She's the sweetest little girl, all she wants to do is snuggle and play.  And if my granddaughter cries she likes to hug and kiss her.

Rosie had a horrible beginning to her life. She and her 5 siblings were victims of abuse, it took 5 months of quarantine for her to be able to pass all the stones in her intestines and this is all she had to eat.  Her 2 siblings remain with our sister rescue, "Dochas-n- Gra" in South Carolina, so that they can recover from an infection, that will cause them to lose some of their limbs.
Rosie is ready to find her "forever" home.  If you are interested in adopting Rosie please contact Anna at Happy Tails at apancaldo@aol.com. Rosie deserves a good loving family.

Recently my family and I have rescued 2 puppies from Happy Tails Dog Rescue Inc. 501c3.  They are such a great rescue to work with.  They are a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. They are an all volunteer based rescue group specializing in the rescue and placement of abused, unwanted, and abandoned dogs. Happy Tails Dog Rescue Inc. is 100% foster-based, meaning all of their dogs are in loving temporary homes with other animals, children, etc. Their goal is to end pet overpopulation through education regarding spay and neuter, as well as placing all dogs in amazing furever homes. Happy Tails also has a volunteer that takes care of 8 cat colonies.  It’s such an awesome thing, these volunteer do for this rescue!

Thinking of adopting or becoming a foster family contact Happy Tails Dog Rescue Inc. at adopt@happytailsdogrescueLI.org or follow them on Facebook and view the current dogs that are looking for their furever home!
