New Fan-Favorite Mystery Flavor Unveiled
NEW YORK (July 1, 2014) – With a menu of unbelievable ice cream sure to make visitors scream, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Times Square celebrates National Ice Cream Day on Sunday, July 20, with taste test challenges and a special discount as a cherry on top.
From 12pm to 5pm, Ripley’s guests are invited to spin the Wheel of Ice “Screams” to receive a free sample cone and the chance to earn half off admission through a series of challenges including blind taste tests, mystery toppings, and more. Those who complete the designated ice cream dare (or at least give it a good shot), will receive half off admission to the museum that day.
Joining the variety of flavors, which includes Onion and Mushroom, Cayenne Carmel and Pickle created by Max & Mina’s Ice Cream in Flushing, Queens, will be a new mystery flavor chosen by the Ripley’s Times Square Facebook community. The top five wackiest fan submissions were selected by Ripley’s Times Square along with the ice cream aficionados at Max & Mina’s and put to a public vote.
